In the college student election task, Balaji Murugadoss wins the election with the lead of one vote. Balaji Murugadoss received 5 votes, while Niroop received 4 votes.
Shariq, Thamaraiselvi, Julie, and Abhirami voted for 'Rocket', the symbol of Balaji. Suruthi, Snehan, Vanitha, and Niroop voted for 'Star', the symbol of Niroop. Towards the end, Balaji Murugadoss was declared the winner of the elections and became the student leader of the Idhayam Murali Arts College.
After the intense fight with Balaji Murugadoss and Vanitha the previous day, the students' election task was announced. This made the housemates split into two teams. With Vanitha supporting Niroop, Abhirami, and Julie, who got into a fight with her (Vanitha) for supporting Balaji Murugadoss, they worked in favour of him.
Balaji Murugadoss selected Thamaraiselvi as his campaign manager and Niroop chose Snehan for the role. Anitha Sampath, Abhinay Vaddi, and Thadi Balaji were appointed as the election commission team.
The fight between Vanitha and Bala led into another ugly spat. Vanitha asked Bala not to say he respects women, as he called her ‘Anda’ during the task. To which Bala replied, that was a task and he said it as his role was to bully juniors.
Earlier today, Niroop was seen involved in an interpersonal canvassing campaign with the housemates. He was seen convincing Julie and Abhirami. Yet, he failed in persuasion when they voted in favour of Balaji Murugadoss.
Balaji Murugadoss attempted to persuade Suruthi by promising her sports equipment. He also failed to persuade her to vote for Niroop.
At the end of the polling session, Niroop honoured Balaji with a garland. After the elections, Niroop was seen warning Thamaraiselvi that she was on the wrong side.
