The Chettinadu architecture

The first sight of the outdoor view of the mansion gives you a hint that the house is inspired by the traditional Chettinadu architecture. Even if the lawn and roof works resembles an English bungalow, the window works and the choice of a bluish green colour painting makes it perfect for a typical Tamil Nadu house.

3/15

The garden area

The house is decorated with a beautiful lawn and chairs are been placed there for the contestants to have relaxed conversations. Interestingly, there is a Kovil Theru (Temple street) design in the walls which portraits the temple streets of the state.

Swimming pool

Following the former seasons, this season also has a swimming pool and there are recliner chairs placed near the pool.

The restrooms

Same as of the previous seasons, there are separate washrooms for the male and female contestants which was indicated by human-size paintings.

The Jail

The surprise addition of the second season, the jail can be seen in this season also. The jail which punishes the contestants who break the rules of the house has a cot and a mud pot with drinking water.

The living area

The living area where the contestants sit together for the weekend interaction with the host is filled with a sofa and miniature artworks. The living area is surrounded by heavy wall paintings of Tamil Nadu art forms like Thappattam, Bharathanatyam, etc.

The confession room

The main attraction of this year's confession room in a giant Ravana painting in front of the door. In the picture, the Asura king is seen watching the contestants through a binocular. Inside the confession room, a golden colour sofa is set up and like looks classy than that of former seasons.

9/15

Bedrooms

The third season of Bigg Boss Tamil has separate rooms for men and women but interestingly there is no particular partition for the two rooms. Unlike the glass wall in the previous season, the current house only has a wall design between the room. Also, just like in the second season, there is a toilet inside the women's bedroom. The bedroom is filled with wall paintings and there are 15 cozy beds.

10/15

The Kitchen

The food truck-themed Kitchen is another attraction of the house. The modular kitchen also has all the amenities for cooking which includes vessels, utensils and storage spaces. The kitchen also has a small dining space in front of it.

The dining area

While the second season had a rectangular shaped dining table, a circular shaped dining table can be spotted in the house.

12/15

The spectacular wall paintings

From the huge painting of Kamal Haasan's Virumandi avatar (one of this popular movie getup) to the drawing of the ten-headed Ravana, the house is filled with wall paintings. Apart from this, the painting of Tamil Nadu temple festivals and other artforms makes the house a complete canvas of the states cultural heritage.

13/15

Other artworks

The house is surrounded by many more artworks. The circus cycles inside the bedroom, the chandeliers, the large mirror outside the house, each little prop has added beauty to the house.

14/15

The Watchtower

Another addition of this season is the watchtowers placed outside the house. Along with beam lights which focus to the garden area there is a new watchtower set up which is expected to be a place to capture the happenings at a better angle.
