Marathi actress and Yuva Dancing Queen judge
Sonalee Kulkarni urged fans to celebrate the upcoming festival Ganesh Chathurthi in an eco-friendly manner. Ganeshotsav is a festival that is widely celebrated in Mumbai, especially in the Marathi community.
The festival concludes with the immersion of Ganesha idols in water. Many people have idols made of plaster of Paris or cement, hence leading to polluting of water bodies.
Talking about the same actress Sonalee Kulkarni released a video and urged her fans to bring Ganesh idols which are only made from the natural sand and clay.
She wrote, "मातीपासून मूर्तीपर्यंत आणि मूर्तीपासून मातीपर्यंत..बाप्पा राहणार कायम आपल्या सोबत 🏻यंदा करा #ecofriendly गणेशोत्सव साजरा".
Sonalee has also raised her voice for many issues and for preserving nature and wildlife. The celebs are trying their best to spread awareness about eco-friendly Ganeshotsav.
Recently, Sonalee returned to Mumbai from Dubai after 5 months and often entertains her fans by sharing her pictures of Dubai and it seems as if she can't get over her Dubai memories.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonalee is currently judging a dance reality show Yuva Dancing Queen along with choreographer Mayur Vaidya.
