The Brihanmumbai Municipal corporation (BMC) demolished alleged unauthorised constructions of actor Kangana Ranaut’s recently-renovated bungalow at Pali Hill area of Bandra (west) today Wednesday 9/9. The actress is into headlines for her controversial statements and actors from various industries are reacting to it. Marathi TV show He Mann Barware actor
Shashank Ketkar recently shared his views and posted a long note on how
Kangana Ranaut and
Sushant Singh Rajput's cases are siding common man problems and serious issues like
coronavirus.
Shashank wrote on Instagram, "Kangana Ranaut's office unauthorized? Why did everyone wait until it was developed ???? Who has given permission before ???? I don't accuse any party, or support anyone because here everyone is equally corrupt. Slums are growing, potholes are there on the roads, bridges are falling, waters are flowing, unauthorized towers are being constructed, the corona is still growing, the rich are getting richer ... the poor are getting poorer."
Shashank further wrote, "The purpose of writing this post is different. I am a boy from a very normal household. I took a flat on Mira Road in 2013 in a complex called RNA Viva, which is still half-done today in 2020, and no matter how many more years it will be. I have received a regular bank loan. All my documents are clear, but only because of the fraud builder and the political war, we have all been holding hands with the flat owners for the last seven years. Now that complex is sealed by the government and is embroiled in a property dispute."
The actor has no political support but the struggle for survival is still there. He said, "My point is that we are using the money of ordinary citizens to commit such frauds daily basis. Not just in Mumbai but all over the country! I am proud of Mumbai but there will be thousands of such complexes in Mumbai ... Will we get our money back by demolishing all of them? There is really no political support behind us, so what about us ???? And not just these frauds, but the frauds we have to struggle with every day to survive essentially????"
Shashank Ketkar also requested netizens to not write stupid comments and urged everyone to understand the point. Shashank said, " Please do not comment like you are an actor and you have everything. Understand the point. Not only Mumbai but I am proud of our country but when I start to feel the fear of survival on each step ???? Even in powerful countries, there is corruption, politics is going on, but care is being taken that common people won't suffer with it. After seeing the current political maturity (politics started after Sushant's case), it seems that the problems of a common man like me will never be solved.
Meanwhile, on the work front, actor Shashank Ketkar is playing the character of Siddharth and Mrunal Dusanis is playing Anu in the Sukhanchya Sarine He Mann Baware.
