Popular Marathi film and TV actress Madhavi Gogate passed away on November 21, 2021. Reportedly, the actress had tested positive for COVID-19. As per the reports, the veteran actress had been admitted to the hospital and was recovering, too, but her condition deteriorated suddenly, and succumbed to her illness. She rose to fame with Marathi and Hindi TV shows and films.

Popular Marathi TV actor and Swarajya Rakshak Sambhaji fame Ujwal Dhangar passed away on June 18 due to heart attack. The 35 year old actor's sudden demise has left his friends and colleagues shocked. Ujwal's friends from the industry mourned the sudden demise. Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra actor Gaurav More, Prasad Khandekar and Nikhil Raut expressed their grief.

Popular veteran Marathi and Bollywood actor Kishor Nandlaskar passed away on April 20. Reportedly, Kishor tested positive for COVID-19. He was immediately admitted to the hospital but succumbed to the infection within no time. Kishor Nandlaskar has featured in many popular Bollywood films. He rose to fame with Vaastav where he played the character of Didfutya's father opposite Usha Nadkarni.

Marathi and Hindi TV actress Abhilasha Patil passed away on May 6, 2021 due to COVID-19 complications. The actress was in her early 40s.
