Fu Bai Fu to Hrudayi Preet Jagate: Here's a look at recent Marathi TV shows that ended midway due to poor TRP performance

Many TV shows create much hype before the launch and promise the viewers full-on entertainment with their plots and what not. But a few shows abruptly go off-air due to a poor TRP performance and other reasons. In the past few weeks, a similar trend was noticed in Marathi TV where some shows ended their journey midway. Take a look:

2/6

Fu Bai Fu

The most hyped and star-studded TV show Fu Bai Fu unexpectedly went off-air due to less TRPs. The show had Umesh Kamat, and Nirmiti Sawant, in the role of judges and Vaidehi Parshurami as the host. Despite casting popular faces in the comedy show, the show did not receive a good response from the audience in the first week and as a result, it went off-air in just a few days.

3/6

Sundar Aamche Ghar

Sundar Aamche Ghar was also one of the multi-starrer TV shows that went off-air after airing for a few weeks. The show had a saas-bahu concept which eventually did not manage to treat the viewers. Sanchita Kulkarni, Sukanya Mone, and Usha Nadkari played pivotal roles in the show.

4/6

Mann Jhala Bajind

Marathi romantic drama Mann Jhala Bajind featuring Shweta Kharat and Vaibhav Chavan in the lead roles could not entertain the viewers with their on-screen chemistry as Raya and Krushna. Despite airing it in a prime time slot, the show didn't perform well on the TRP charts due to various reasons and had to end its journey earlier that expected.

5/6

Devmanus season 2

Crime thriller drama Devmanus launched its season 2 by creating much hype on social media. The audience had very high expectations over season 2 especially after the successful debut season. But, the show apparently couldn't measure up to the expectations and strike a chord like the first edition and the makers decided to end the show.

6/6

Hrudayi Preet Jagate

Recently, the makers of Hrudayi Preet Jagate announced the end of the new TV show recently. Upcoming show Tula Shikvin Changlach Dhada is going to replace Hrudayi Preet Jagate in its time slot. Hrudayi Preet Jagate will air its last episode on March 1. Reportedly, the show's storyline and narrative reportedly failed to engage the viewers and the makers decided to end the show abruptly.
