Exclusive - BB Marathi fame Sai Lokur on her fiance Tirthadeep: I never felt that instant connect with anyone

Bigg Boss Marathi fame Sai Lokur recently surprised her fans by announcing her engagement with her Mr. Right - Tirthadeep Roy. Sai Lokur won the hearts of the audience with her performance in the reality show. The actress exclusively spoke to Etimes TV about her fiance Tirthadeep Roy, how they met and why she feels he is the one for her. (PC - Instagram)

Sai has been looking for her Mr. perfect on matrimonial portal from the past last 2 years and she finally found the one. Talking about it, Sai said, "We both found each other through a matrimonial site and started chatting in August. We both liked each other's nature within just a couple of days. We were so positive about each other and decided to meet. He came to Belgaon with his mother and left in the evening. By the time he left, we were sure that we are going to get marrier. Everything happened so fast and but yes I feel it was meant to be.” (PC - Instagram)

Sai Lokur never felt that instant bond with anyone before. She elaborated, "I never felt that instant connection with anyone the way I felt with Deep. His name is Tirthadeep but I call him Deep (she blushes). After meeting him I was sure that I don't want to see any other guy. His dimples I found very cute. Also, he is very simple and the way he lives his life is admirable. He is so positive about everything. I got attracted to his values.” (PC - Instagram)

Sai often used to always say in the Bigg Boss Marathi house that she won't compromise in looks while searching for the groom. Sai explained the same and said, "When I saw Deep for the first time I thought he is such a handsome guy (she laughs). There was no second thought after that it was just YES. We were feeling so perfect for each other. I finally got the person in my life that I always wished for. There was not at all a single moment where I felt he lacked anything. The Kis Kisko Pyar Karoo actress rejected a few proposals after seeing the pictures. She said, "I was searching so many profiles on matrimonial sites. If I didn't like the guy in the picture I never opened his profile. I was rejecting proposals after seeing the photos but when I saw Deep, I was on the top of the world (she laughs).” (PC - Instagram)

Sai's fiance Tirthadeep has never watched Sai's performance in Bigg Boss Marathi, said Sai. “He basically knew that I am an actress because I mentioned that in my matrimonial profile. He is a Bengali and has not seen my work in Marathi. He never saw my performance in Bigg Boss Marathi (Laughs) but he watched my film Kis Kisko Pyar Karu. As I said earlier, he is not like that person who gets excited after learning that his fiance is an actress. Deep is happy because he finally found the right life partner.” (PC - Instagram)

The actress announced her engagement on social media and a few netizens posted negative comments on it. A few also wished Sai's Bigg Boss Marathi housemate Pushkar Jog on social media. Talking about it, Sai stated, "I am ignoring such negative people and comments because some have a habit of destroying someone's happiness by poking their nose into everything. Some people can not see others being happy. I have not even seen those comments also. There are people who always see negativity in everything. Me and Tirthadeep both are happy for each other. These external factors are not going to affect us. All of you can do this, just ignore it." (PC - Instagram)

Bigg Boss Marathi season 1 is currently entertaining the audience with its rerun. The actress is not watching the rerun and currently focusing on her wedding preparations. She said, "I am so busy in my wedding preparations nowadays. I don't have time to watch Bigg Boss Marathi rerun and I am currently not into that phase to watch that show. I am giving all my time to Deep right now. This is a special period of my life. I am not going to get this time back again so I am investing my time more on shopping, preparations, and trying to spend as much as time with Tirthadeep.” (PC - Instagram)
