Actress, dancer Ayli Ghiya is the new 'Fit India Ambassador'
Young dancer and film actress Ayli Ghiya has been selected as the Fit India Ambassador by the Central Government. Only a few candidates from Maharashtra have been selected to date. Ayli is the first candidate to be selected from Pune as Fit India Ambassador and she is the youngest person to be appointed as Fit India Ambassador.
The Central Government has selected some youths from different parts of the country on behalf of Fit India and the Sports Authority of India (SAI) to encourage them to work hard in the health sector. This selection is for one year. Ayli Ghiya has been selected as the Fit India Ambassador who received a letter from the Central Government on 26 February 2021. Ayli is the daughter of Dr Kavita and Dr Pramod Ghiya from Pune.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the Fit India campaign on National Sports Day on August 29, 2019. The concept has been implemented by the Central Government in view of the physical fitness of citizens of all ages from young to old. The aim of this campaign is to keep every citizen healthy by incorporating sports and exercise in their daily life.

Known in the field of dance and acting, Ayli has played major roles in Marathi films as well as Bollywood films. She has been working as a fitness instructor for the younger generation. Through various means, she is convincing the citizens about the importance of diet and exercise and is creating health awareness.
During the Corona era, Ayli started a journey called 'Journey Towards Healthy Life' on social media. She tried to resolve various health problems of the masses by different sessions with reputed doctors in the medical field. Ayli also organised an online yoga class on the occasion of World Yoga Day, which included citizens of many countries. She had participated in discussions with experts on ‘The Importance of Yoga in Your Life. Ayli has also maintained her social commitment by providing various health services free of cost.
The press conference was chaired by the Vice President of the Ayli’s Dance and Art Academy Dr Kavita Ghiya, Secretary Santosh Chordia, Treasurer Dr Pramod Ghiya were present.
