Star Singer team's birthday surprise leaves Mithun Ramesh teary-eyed, he says, 'This was the best'

The Star Singer team never leaves any moment to celebrate, and this time it was the birthday of host Mithun Ramesh. In the recent episode, leaving the anchor shocked, the team had planned a memorable celebration for him.


In the episode, Mithun announced that there would be a special video segment for social awareness. But, leaving everyone surprised, it was an AV narrating the life of the birthday boy, Mithun Ramesh. From losing his father at a very young age to fighting Bell's Palsy, his life is nothing short of an inspiration to many. Seeing the AV on the big screen, Mithun was seen both surprised and teary-eyed.


Soon after the video, he was seen rushing to the judges to receive their wishes. But yet another surprise awaited him. None other than Mithun's dear mother entered the stage. Not just that, she also presented a gold ring to her dear son as a birthday gift.


Further, the judges also joined the stage and they had a special cake-cutting ceremony for the host. During the cake cutting, the judges were seen sharing their wishes for Mithun.


"I have known him since my pre-degree time. He is one of those friends I would call when I am doubtful about something. He is a man of positivity," Vidhu Prathap said.


Judge and singer Sithara Krishnakumar called Mithun her dear brother.


"He is rich in all senses. Be it happiness, emotionally, knowledge-wise, empathy, love for people, talent, or even money," she chuckled.


Mithun's co-host Varsha shared that she is happy to share the stage with him as she gets to learn a lot from him.
After the celebration, Mithun shared that it was one of the best celebrations of his life. He also said that despite working on many shows before, it was the first time he got to celebrate his birthday on the sets of a TV show.
