Malayalam TV's Appus, Harimurali, passes away; netizens remember his hilarious scene with Ranimol
The shocking demise of former child actor Harimurali has left the whole state in deep agony. The 27-year-old was found dead in his residence in Payyanur. Harimurali was much-loved by the Malayali audience for his characters in movies like Rasikan.
However, the actor has become the darling of the Malayali audience since the age of 4. Harimurali, who was the son of theatre and film actor K. U. Murali, started his acting career with TV serials. Reportedly, it was director AM Naseer who introduced him to the industry. Harimurali became a household name among the telly audience with his character Appu in the show 'Mangalyam.' His striking chemistry with then-child actress Keerthana Anil was much loved by fans. His innocence and natural humour were indeed the key attractions of the evergreen series.
Years later, recently, the same videos were seen resurfacing online, and they were yet again celebrated by fans.
Both Keerthana and Hari were seen recreating the same scene after decades, and netizens couldn't be more nostalgic. Lately, the child actors of the Mangalyam show have been seen together in many interviews, and the videos are still making rounds on social media.
