Govind Padmasoorya is back to Malayalam TV, set to host a brand new family show

He is back! One of the most loved anchors on Malayalam TV, Govind Padmasoorya aka GP, is set to host a brand new show. The show, titled ‘The Great Family Challenge’, will mark GP’s comeback to television after a couple of years.
In the teaser that surfaced online, Govind hints at a family show, which is expected to be in a quiz format. As per sources, the show will feature families from different backgrounds as contestants, and they will face different challenges from the host. Upon winning the challenges, the families will take home grand prize money. However, further updates on the show are awaited.

Govind Padmasoorya is one of the most loved TV hosts in Malayalam television. The actor, who kickstarted his hosting career with the dance reality show D 4 Dance, became a sensation. Later, he also anchored popular shows like Bzinga, Dare the Fear, Adi Mone Buzzer, and more. Lastly, he was seen hosting the family show, Bzinga Family Festival.




Apart from Malayalam television, GP also became popular in Telugu cinema. He has played notable roles in movies like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Bangarraju.


Currently, GP entertains his fans with his vlogs and photoshoots online. On the personal front, he is married to actress Gopika Anil.
