From reluctant dance partners in 'Nayika Nayakan' to wedded bliss: Malavika and Thejus share their enchanting love story

The wedding of Nayika Nayakan co-contestants Malavika Krishnadas and Thejus was indeed a big celebration for the TV industry. The gala wedding was truly a dream come true moment for the couple and they cherished each bit of it. Interestingly, in the wedding video, the duo shared some of the memorable moments in their love story and it is unmissable

During a "Premam" round on the show, Thejus and Malavika portrayed the roles of an RTO officer and an applicant, respectively. The chemistry between them was evident, particularly when Thejus indirectly proposed to Malavika in the act.

"After the Premam round, the judges suggested that we'd make a good couple. My friends even began asking if we were dating. When my family started looking for a match for me, I showed them these comments and also sent them to Malavika, although she didn't catch on," said Thejus.

Malavika noted, "When I joined 'Nayika Nayakan,' I was still in college while Thejus was already working. On set, he was like an 'Ettan' figure to me, somewhat of an elder brother."

In the wedding video, Thejus recounted that Malavika initially didn't want him as her dance partner and would even pray to avoid being paired with him. "I wasn't fond of him back then. But look where we are now, happily united for life," Malavika gleefully added.

Describing the emotional moment when they first saw each other in their wedding attire, Malavika stated, "From a young age, you see these moments in videos. So when he turned and looked at me in my bridal attire, it felt surreal. Truly a dream come true."

During their sangeeth ceremony, the couple performed to the timeless song 'Kannum Kannum,' recreating a dance number they'd performed together on "Nayika Nayakan." Thejus remarked that it was a momentous occasion that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

As they embarked on their marital journey, Malavika expressed how wonderful it felt to have her best friend by her side all the time. "It's like having a constant companion to share anything and travel with, who is also your family. It feels incredible," she concluded.
