Drama Junior is back with season 2; Manikuttan replaces Vidhu Prathap

The popular talent hunt show, Drama Juniors, is back with the new season. After the successful first season, which has contributed a handful of talents, the show is set to make a buzz. Adding excitement even before the launch, the makers have revealed the new entrant to the judging panel too.


Joining actors Miya and Ambika on the judging panel is none other than actor and Bigg Boss Malayalam winner Manikuttan. The actor will be replacing singer Vidhu Prathap on the judging panel this time. In the teaser that surfaced online, the actor is seen joining the team with his signature humor. Not to miss, the much-loved host of the show, Jeeva, is also back to make a blast.


The show, which features young talents from different walks of life, had its auditions in different districts. Just like the premiere season, the second season is also expected to have interesting rounds that showcase the acting skills of the child artists.


The new season of the show will have the grand premiere on Saturday, February 14 in Zee Keralam. What will the show have in store this time? We will have to wait and watch...



Drama Juniors season 1 stood out with its unique format and talented bunch of kids. The last season crowned Theertha Shivaram as the winner, where contestants Balamani and Sreedev grabbed the first and second runner-up titles. Notably, Drama Juniors contestant Vedhika, who went viral with some of her performances during the show, has made her entry to Mollywood, and she is shining in the limelight with her latest release, 'Chatha Pacha.'
