Sagar Surya, an engineering graduate from Thrissur, made a surprising entry to the popular sitcom 'Thatteem Mutteem' in 2018. In the show, he entered as Aadhi, Meenakshi's husband and the son-in-law of actress Manju Pillai. Within a brief time, Sagar managed to grab attention with his comedy timing and striking chemistry with the actors. Though he left the show in 2022, he managed to make a lasting impression.
The next game changer in Sagar's life was Bigg Boss Malayalam 5. He entered the show as a contestant and grabbed much attention with his game. Though he left the show before the finale, the big surprise awaited him outside the house. The actor was cast in the Pani after Joju George, who had noticed him on the reality show, recommended him. Notably, Sagar made a comeback to the Bigg Boss house in the next season to promote his movie too.
