Bigg Boss Malayalam 2 house photos: Here's a sneak peek into the redesigned house

The second season of Bigg Boss Malayalam hosted by Mohanlal is finally on-air. Just like the previous season, the specially designed Bigg Boss house has grabbed the attention of the audience with its elegance and style. Take a look at the exclusive pictures and details of the redesigned BB house.

The 6000 square feet mansion is set up in the EVP film city, Chennai. From air-conditioned rooms to attractive installations, the house has all the modern amenities. The design of the house is in sync with the traditional architectural style of Kerala and the use of bamboo and palm leaves etc has indeed added to the beauty.

The first major addition to this season’s Bigg Boss Malayalam house is the jail. It is placed outside the house and has an attached toilet inside. The housemates who will get punished for violating the rules of the house shall be imprisoned.

Smoking room aka 'Adholokam', as it was popularly called last year, is also designed well with saplings on its outer walls. The smoking room looks colourful this season.

Just like the previous season, the beautiful lawn outside and facing the house, there is a swimming pool on the right and a gym towards the left. There is also a sitting area designed close to the entrance door with recliners close to the pool.

One can see the dining area once the door is opened and it is designed with paintings and other beautiful artworks. Towards the left is the living area with the confession room close to it. The kitchen and the storeroom are adjacent to it.

The colourful living area is filled with artworks just like the previous season. There is a TV through which the contestants interact with the host.

Near to the living area is the confession room. This is where the contestants interact with Bigg Boss and get any external help if needed. Unlike the previous season, the opening door of the room has a set of briefcases and a microscope themed design on it. Interestingly, the confession room is also designed with many artworks this time with a large couch placed in the centre of the room.

Kitchen in this season is designed in the shape of an elephant. Besides this, the large kitchen space has a washing area and shelves. There is a stove, microwave oven and a refrigerator.

The table is designed in the model of Vazhayila (Banana leaf) this year. The large table has small chairs placed around it. The wood ceiling above the dining area is also creatively designed.

There are two cosy bedrooms in the rooms. Interestingly, there is no wall separation between the rooms this time. The bedroom is also filled with wall paintings and the black and white doodle of an owl is quite attractive.

Just like the previous season, there is a storeroom inside the house which has numerous colourful shelves where all the essentials for the contestants are placed. Outside the house is the bathroom area with toilets and washbasins.

The main attraction of this year’s Bigg Boss house is the caricature of Mollywood actors in the living area. In the artwork, actors like Dulquar Salman, Jayaram, Thilakan, Fahad Fasil, Jayan, Nivin Pauly can be seen in a Chundan Vallam (the snake boat). Interestingly, the host Mohanlal can also be spotted in a Mahabali avatar in the same design.

Another attraction of the house is the wall of doodles. Near to the kitchen, there is a wall filled with writings of popular dialogues from several Malayalam movies.
