Team Agnisakshi wraps the shoot; climax episodes to air this week

Daily soap 'Agnisakshi' is one of the most loved shows on Kannada television. The show, which has been entertaining the viewers from the past 6 years, will conclude its journey this week.Sources close to the team informed us, they have completed the shoot of the climax episode yesterday (December 29), wherein the entire cast was present on the sets of the show. The team had an emotional reunion on the sets of Agnisakshi.The climax episodes of the show will be aired during the week. However, the show will conclude its journey on friday (January 3). A new daily soap titled 'Geeta' will be replacing the timeslot of Agnisakshi. As per the latest storyline, Chandrika (the antagonist) gets caught red-handed by the cops, when she tries to escape. The family members learn about Anjali's marriage with Shourya and try their best to convince Prameela (Shourya's mother) to accept Anjali as her daughter-in-law.On the other hand, Agnisakshi, which ruled the TRP charts since its premiere, has recently witnessed a drastic dip in terms of ratings. This is likely to be one of the reasons behind the show going off-air.Interestingly, the show not only served as a platform for its actors but its crew as well. Mysore Manju, who initially directed the show gained immense popularity for his directorial skills.Actors Vijaya Suriya and Vaishnavi Gowda plays a lead character of Siddharth and Sannidhi in the show. However, Vijay Suriya recently bid adieu to the show as his contract with the channel airing the show was over.Agnisakshi also features Ishtitha Varsha, Priyanka, Rajesh Dhruva, Aishwarya Salimath, Sukratha Nag, Mukhyamantri Chandru, Arjun Ramesh, Anusha Rao, Vanitha Vasu and many other stars.
