Sanchari Vijay starrer Naanu Avanalla Avalu will be soon aired on a general entertainment channel. It is the performance of Sanchari Vijay as Madesha and
Vidya which fetched him national award. The project is directed by B S Lingadevaru.
Naanu Avanalla Avalu which got its theatrical release on September 25 2015 in Karnataka got accolades at several international film festivals and it was also screened at Melbourne International Film Festival.
The movie is based on the work I am Vidya, penned by Living Smile Vidya.
The film traces the journey of Madesha who feels like a woman from inside, but he struggles to share his feelings as he always faces rejections from his family members. He crosses all the hurdles and becomes a woman Vidya. The project aks right questions to the society on how transgender's lack respect and how they struggle to lead life on their own.
The film also has Sumithra,Kunal Punekar,
Sundar, Maniyamma, Bhoopal, Shivshankar Kadadevarmath, Shailashree, Savitha and Aravind Kuplikar in significant roles. Anoop Seelin has composed the music. Even make-up artist Raju won the national award for his wonderful work.
