Ganesh returns to TV after two years with a show for friends

Sandalwood actor Ganesh is returning to television after a two-year hiatus with a new show called Golden Gang, which will be aired during primetime on television. Ganesh had last hosted the popular game show Super Minute, which went off air in 2019.

A source close to the television channel tells us, “Ganesh has already shot for the promo which will be unveiled in a special television awards show. Golden Gang is likely to be a unique weekend game show where actors who are friends in the Sandalwood industry share their nostalgic moments and will have a fun time, even playing games. A final picture about the format of the show can be revealed officially once shooting begins.”
The team is said to have approached actors like Meghana Raj Sarja, Pannaga Bharana, Vasishta N Simha and several others from Sandalwood.
It is Ganesh’s popular dialogue Namaskara Namaskara in the television show Comedy Time which gave him the platform to take a big leap from small screen to Sandalwood as a hero. Since then, he continues to balance between the small and silver screens. On the film front, he has wrapped up shooting for Gaalipata 2 and is gearing up for the release of Sakkath.
