Actress-educator Yamuna Srinidhi, expressed her disappointment over the saddening incident of 19-year-old Aditya Prabhu's death by suicide. "This is really very disheartening news to even come across. I feel the system must be condemned here. The pressure the students are being subjected to is really disgusting. This time again, events are proving that we are not civilized enough to raise the next generation," was the actress' first response when we spoke to her.

Kannada actor Deepak Rai Panaje, who is best known for the portrayal of, Sundara, in the pan-India blockbuster movie Kantara, is now gearing up to feature in the daily soap Gattimela. Deepak will essay the role of a retired postmaster in the show. Deepak's entry in Gattimela is likely to bring in a major twist in the show. He will be a bridge to Vedanth's search for his long-lost biological father.

Kannada actress Rashmi Prabhakar took to her Instagram handle to share a humorous take on the rising price of tomatoes. The actress shared a video that features herself surprising her husband Nikhil Bhargav who recently celebrated his birthday. While the actress is asking him to guess the special surprise gift, the latter is seen left in a confused yet excited state to receive the gift from his dear wife. Rashmi is also seen asking her husband to guess the surprise gift by hinting that it is the most 'expensive' purchase she has made for him so far.

After hosting kids based reality show, Drama Juniors, Master Anand has now bagged a new project in his kitty. The actor-turned-host is now set to take over hosting duties for a new cookery show, Couples Kitchen. This is the first time Master Anand will be hosting a cookery show in his career so far. He has also shot a few episodes for the new show already.

Kishen Bilagali drew criticism on Instagram for eating red ant chutney. His post extolled the benefits of red ants. However, some of his followers were concerned about his mistreatment of the insects. Others defended Bilagali, stating that the consumption of red ant chutney was a common practice in many regions.

Aside from her television stint, little star Vanshika Anjani Kashyap seems to be concentrating on her academics as well. The little star is leaving no stone unturned in keeping up with her academics. The latest video features Vanshika learning to orate the Kannada poem 'Vandhane' which is a part of the grade one language textbook in the school syllabus. While Vanshika's mother, Yashashwini, teaches her munchkin to orate the poem, the little star was seen repeating each sentence after the mother.

Disha Madan opened up about her love and passion for learning various dance forms since the tender age of three years old toddler. "I went on to learn Bharatanatyam and pursued it professionally. I still remember writing my exams in school, running back home, studying my Bharatanatyam syllabus, and writing those exams right after. I’d cry if I scored less in my dance exams and be okay if I didn’t score too well in school! Finished my Rangapravesha when I was 14, and my junior & senior exams in dance, all before I completed my 10th grade" shared the actress.

Kannada actress and former Bigg Boss Kannada season 9 fame Saanya Iyer is enjoying a vacation the Kashmir. The actress along with her mommy dearest, Deepa Iyer is currently enjoying a trek to the Kashmir base camp. Saanya took to her Instagram handle to share her trekking experience. Sharing a picture from the trek, the actress on her social media handle wrote, "Swipe to see the magic. Effect of trekking uphill through the meadows and streams for 5kms straight drenched in non-stop brain-freezing rain. A lot for half of day 1 since we had another 5 to cover. Kashmir got us right," (sic)

Shwetha Prasad is back in form. The actress, who had suffered a Knee injury earlier, is now gearing up to continue practising Yoga. Shwetha on her Instagram handle mentioned that she is back to practising Yoga after two long years. "Right after the professional Yoga course, I had a knee injury which made me discontinue the practice and go for physiotherapy for almost 6 months. Wanted to take up the next course and learn more. That's when I was injured and it was so depressing. That’s how life is. U think u are on the track that’s when u fall hard on ur face. It’s been two years now. My knee is almost healed. I have a chance to start again from scratch and I'm glad I have good health and I shall do it all over again. No matter how hard u fall, take time to get up and RISE AGAIN" (sic)

Ace actress Pooja Lokesh is back on Kannada television after a very long break. The actress made her Kannada TV comeback with the newly launched daily soap Seetha Rama. Pooja is seen playing a vamp in the daily soap. This is the first time the actress is seen as a vamp on Kannada TV. Pooja essays the character "Bhargavi' in the show. Bhargavi is the second daughter-in-law of the Desai Family. Considering a hurtful incident from the past, Bhargavi vows to destroy the Desai family and even cause harm to the male protagonist Sriram's life in the daily soap.
