From festive feast to fun games, ‘Suvarna Sankranti Sambhrama’ promises full entertainment

A grand festive celebration awaits television audiences as popular Kannada television stars come together for ‘Suvarna Sankranti Sambhrama’, a special programme marking the first festival of the year, Sankranti. The event will air this Friday, January 16, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, promising three hours of wholesome festive entertainment.

Sankranti, traditionally celebrated by offering a special mixture of sesame, jaggery, groundnuts, roasted gram, sugar figurines and coconut to the deity and sharing it with loved ones, is being showcased in its authentic, rural flavour through this special programme.

For this year’s celebration, the festivities unfold at the home setting of the popular serial ‘Aase’, where actors from various well-known serials come together to celebrate the harvest festival in a traditional village-style ambience. The programme features stars from serials such as Nee Irulu Jotheyalli, Sharade, Jai Lalitha, and Snehada Kadalli, who engage in fun-filled competitions, friendly banter and lively interactions.

The celebration is packed with songs, games, humour and festive chatter, offering viewers complete entertainment. Popular comedian Hitesh Kapinadka, known for his ‘Paku Paku’ fame, adds to the fun with his unique look and comic timing, leaving the audience thoroughly amused.
