Deepa Jagadeesh aka Anjali quits Kannada TV show Kavyanjali
Kannada actress Deepa Jagadeesh aka Anjali of Kavyanjali has bid adieu to the show. The actress called it quits owing to personal reasons. Deepa was paired opposite Pavan Ravindra, who plays the role of her on-screen husband in the show.
While the actress will not be seen in the upcoming episodes, the actual reason behind her decision to quit the show is yet to be revealed. She is being tight-lipped about it though.
Sources reveal that a new actress will replace Deepa very soon in the show and the team will introduce the actress shortly.
On the other hand, this is not the first time that Anjali's character in the show has been replaced. Earlier, actress Sushmitha Bhat, who had been playing the role of Anjali since the show premiered, had also quit the show midway. It was Deepa Jagadeesh who replaced Sushmitha as Anjali.
With Deepa's exit from the show now, it remains to be seen who will be the next actress to step into her shoes as Anjali.
Meanwhile, Kavyanjali is a tale of two girls- Kavya and Anjali. While rumors were rife initially that the show is a sequel of the old show Kavyanjali, a close source from the team cleared the air saying, "The upcoming season of Kavyanjali is no way connected to the premiere. It is not a sequel or anything. The story is completely different and has its own essence in it. I know it was a hit back then but the upcoming season has a lot of fresh content in it. It is surely going to be one roller coaster show."
The show recently completed 200 episodes. The entire cast and the crew members took some time off their busy shoot schedule to celebrate the milestone.
