Prashanth Sambargi has landed himself in a very big trouble by making a contentious statement. The incident happened during the buzzer task when the former took a dig at social activist Rupesh Rajanna, who is also an active contestant in the Bigg Boss house. Prashanth Sambargi and Roopesh Rajanna got into a heated argument during the buzzer task in which, the former lost his calm and made a statement by saying that he has sent many activists behind the bar.

Although their arguments were limited to Bigg Boss house, Prashanth's statement has irked many Kannada activists outside the glasshouse. Earlier on Friday (November 4), a few Kannada activists were reportedly seen protesting outside the Innovative film city, where the Bigg Boss house is installed. The protestors have allegedly asked the makers of the reality show to evict Prashanth Sambargi in the upcoming weekend episode.

The makers of Bigg Boss Kannada season 9 have responded to the same by sharing a video on their official social media handles. The video features Prashanth Sambargi apologising to everyone who has been offended by his contentious statement made inside the Bigg Boss house. In the video, Prashanth mentioned that it was only his tactic to demotivate Rupesh Rajanna during the buzzer task. He averred that he did not have any intention to hurt anyone's emotions by making such harsh statements. Prashanth even agreed that the statement was solely for Rupesh Rajanna as his intention was only to make the latter weak emotionally during the buzzer task.

Rupesh Rajanna raised his voice against captain Anupama Gowda's decision in the task initiated by Bigg Boss. In a task where the contestants were asked to hit the buzzer, Rupesh Rajanna, and Prashanth Sambargi had a very close call in qualifying to participate in the task. Captain Anupama Gowda announced Prashanth Sambargi as the qualifier as she felt that the latter hit the buzzer first. However, Rupesh was not happy with Anupama's verdict as he claimed to hit the buzzer first. He demanded a 'fair verdict' and asked Anupama not to be 'biased'. Nonetheless, Anupama remained adamant about her decision. This irked Rupesh Rajanna. He decided to go on a strike by sleeping in the garden area in the cold weather without using any comforters that can help him stay warm at night.

Rupesh Rajanna confronted Arun Sagar for using the word 'greedy' during the task. What started off as a mere discussion soon erupted into a heated fight complete with shouting and hurling accusations. Moments later, Prashanth Sambargi, who is a close buddy to Arun Sagar intervened in between and backed the latter. He spoke in support of Arun Sagar which irked Rupesh Rajanna as the former's tone and response were not appealing to him. They even locked horns and were about to get into a physical fight. The contestants had to intervene to stop the ruckus created by the duo.

The morning after the Deepavali burst out, Saniya Iyer asked the then-concerned toilet cleaning departments to clean the restroom properly as it was not done the previous night. Rupesh Rajanna however blamed Prashanth Sambargi for not doing his work correctly as it was his turn to wash the restroom. Yet again, they had an argument. When captain Saniya Intervened and asked Prashanth Samabrgi to follow his duties regularly, the latter accused Saniya of being biased. Saanya Iyer lost her calm and lashed out at Prashanth Sambargi when he accuses her of favoritism during her captaincy. An enraged Saanya warned Prashanth to dare not accuse her of being biased.

This incident happened during the gold mine task. Rupesh Rajanna's ego took a hit when Prashanth Sambargi convinced Vinod Gobbaragala to eliminate the former from the captaincy task for a mere ten grams of gold. The former felt insulted and lashed out at Vinod Gobargala and Prashanth Sambargi for plotting against him. He asked them to play fair instead of being manipulative.

During the very initial days inside the Bigg Boss house, Rupesh Rajanna had requested the housemates to avoid running taps while washing vessels. Although the former did not mention any particular name of the contestant who has been doing it, his statement did spark a few arguments. Most of the contestants averred that each one of them follows it as they prefer to save water and it is a basic knowledge to do so. Things escalated when Prashanth Sambargi shared his opinion. Prashanth asked Rupesh to stop giving them moral lessons. Irked by Sambargi's words, Rupesh and the former got into a heated argument. While Rupesh asked Prashanth not to overreact about the issues as they did not concern him, the latter went on to continue asking the former not to teach any moral lessons as they were not in school.

Prashanth Sambargi and Rupesh Rajanna had their first spat the day after the grand premiere of the reality show. It started when the social Rupesh took a dig at Prashanth Sambargi over his work outside the Bigg Boss house. Stating that Prashanth Sambargi causes a lot of disturbance in society with his antics, Rupesh averred that there are hardly a group of people who agree with the former and his thoughts. He mentioned that only people with the same thoughts and attitude as Prashanth Sambargi are the ones who come in support of him in society.
Although Prashanth defended himself by saying that there are the cops to handle when there is any imbalance in society, Rupesh mentioned that there are two types of 'disturbance' the former causes. One is the 'legal way' and the other is the 'emotional disturbance'. He averred that Prashanth always disturbs society in an emotional manner where no one can take any action.
