‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ February 19 written update: Maira and Mukti go against one another in the hostel

In the hit TV show’s latest episode, things start off with a bitter moment as Maira and Mukti realise that they are bunk partners and have been allotted the same room. The two express their disdain over the matter and get irritated at each other. Meanwhile, Armaan and Abhira miss Mukti and Maira and regret not saying goodbye to each other properly.

Tanya wants to focus on her career

Meanwhile, at the Poddar house, Kajal asks Tanya about when she will start planning for a family. Tanya gets the good news from Manoj that the deal that they had been trying to crack for the past couple of days finally came through. When she goes to Kajal to tell her the good news, she is instead questioned about why she has not started a family.





Tanya defends herself, citing that she does not wish to start a family right now and instead wishes to focus on her career. She further shares that it should be her decision entirely and not anybody else’s about whether she should get pregnant or not. Kajal then points out that she knows that Tanya is taking pills, to which she replies that she does not wish for another child in the house to suffer the same way Maira is. Kajal urges her to at least tell Krish what she has been doing.

Mukti and Maira go head-to-head again

The next day, as classes start and the teacher asks the students something, Mukti raises her hand to answer. However, Maira answers the question without any warning. The two start arguing about classroom etiquette. However, the teacher stops them and scolds them for wasting everyone’s time.

The episode comes to an end as the entire batch goes to the cafeteria to get food. Mukti and Maira both show how much they dislike the hostel food, however, they account it to simply missing their family too much. Later, when they are all about to put their dishes away, the light goes away and Mukti bumps into Maira. The two start arguing again.

The promo for the next episode shows Armaan bringing his car to Abhira’s garage in the middle of the night and the two meet again after 8 years of staying apart.
