'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ February 16 written update: Kajal confronts Vidya about meddling with Armaan and Abhira

The latest episode of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ begins with Kajal confronting Vidya about whatever happened in the past 8 years. The two stand nearby and watch Armaan tear up a photo that he found that includes him and Maira standing beside Abhira. After he leaves, Vidya picks up the photo and looks at it with remorse.

Kajal confronts Vidya

As Vidya looks at the photo, Kajal asks her why she seems to be so sad when she got what she wanted in the end. She points out that Vidya always wanted Armaan and Abhira to separate, so why does she seem so sad now? Vidya asks her whether she knows the truth, to which Kajal replies that she knows everything.




Kajal points out that Vidya deliberately did not let Abhira meet Maira and served the custody papers to Armaan instead of giving them directly to Abhira. She proudly admits everything and shares that she will never let the two of them be together again.

Vidya reveals why she kept Armaan and Abhira away from one another

Vidya angrily admits that Abhira chose Vani over her own daughter and saved her from the fire instead of Maira. She stated that since Abhira trusted Anita over Armaan and everyone else in the family, she does not belong with her son. Kajal tries to counter her opinions and tells her who she thinks she is to decide Armaan’s fate. Vidya says that she has every right to do all of this as she is Armaan’s mother and knows what is best for him.

Kajal warns her that she kept quiet because she did not want to create a rift between the mother and son duo; however, she says that the truth will come out no matter what. She also says that she will only remain silent if Vidya does something for her at a later date.

Manisha, Kajal, Vidya, and Tanya apologize to Armaan

The scene shifts to Manisha, Kajal, Vidya, and Tanya talking to Armaan about what happened with Maira at the shopping complex. They apologize to Armaan and admit that they should not have overwhelmed Maira with everything, especially when she is planning on leaving for the hostel in a few days. Armaan refuses to listen to any of them and points out that the damage and trauma are already done. He tells them to never take Maira anywhere without his permission ever again. Kaveri overhears all of this and taunts Armaan, indirectly mentioning Abhira.

The preview for the next episode shows that some hooligans are targeting Abhira. They try to fight her; however, Armaan steps in and saves her, unaware that the woman that he saved was none other than Abhira, who watches him from a safe distance.
