Wheel Of Fortune: Riteish Deshmukh revealed a hilarious moment about Chunky Panday when he called Akshay Kumar his 'duplicate'
Wheel Of Fortune marked the comeback of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar as a host on the small screen. The actor has been entertaining the audience as a host with his wit and humour. The upcoming episode is going to feature celebrities from Bollywood Riteish Deshmukh, Chunky Panday, Sajid Khan as special guest. In the episode of Wheel of Fortune, a light-hearted and hilarious moment unfolded as actor Riteish Deshmukh shared an unexpected behind-the-scenes moment about Akshay Kumar and Chunky Panday. The incident was from the movie Housefull 1 while they were shooting the balcony scene.
Riteish shared that Chunky Panday was so into being Aakhri Pasta that he actually started acting like an Italian. This was really funny. He remembered that when they were filming, a lot of Italian girls walked by, and they were all watching and having a good time. Riteish thought it was hilarious that Chunky Panday was into his role as Aakhri Pasta.
So Riteish is telling us what happened next. He said, "Chunky went up to the girls and asked them if they liked shooting. The girls were really excited. Said yes. Then Chunky pointed at Akshay Kumar. Asked if they knew who he was. The girls said they had heard he was a big star. Chunky, just. Said, "No, no, he is my duplicate. I am the star. This was really funny."
Everyone started laughing, even Akshay Kumar. Riteish said that Chunky's comment was so silly that it made everyone laugh. Chunky was happy that he could make everyone laugh by saying he was the star, not Akshay Kumar.
Riteish finished the story by saying that when the shooting was over and Akshay came back, all the girls wanted autographs from Chunky Panday. This made everyone laugh again. The story was really funny.
Akshay, who earlier hosted stunt-based show “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi” (2008-2011), judged “MasterChef India” (2010) and The Great Indian Laughter Challenge (2017), recently told PTI that TV can unite family audiences and he is hoping his new show will foster this connection.
“Over the years, iconic television formats and their hosts haven’t just entertained, they have built trust, brought generations together, and created moments where families sit together, play along and celebrate wins as one. For me, ‘Wheel of Fortune’ feels like coming home to that family audience, the kind that gathers after a long day to unwind together,” he told PTI.
Wheel Of Fortune hosted by Akshay Kumar airs every Monday to Friday at 9:00 PM.
