Omkar Kapoor to make his television debut
The 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2' actor, Omkar Kapoor is all set to make his television debut. He will be seen playing the part essayed by Shah Rukh Khan in 'Dil Hi Toh Hai', the television adaptation of the hit film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'. He says, “The lines for Bollywood and TV actors are getting blurred. Now, if there is a strong script, actors are interested in doing it, regardless of the medium.
This will be my debut show and it is an honour to play an iconic Bollywood character. I am happy that the makers thought of me. Even as I share my happiness over this, I am currently shooting for a Hindi film and will continue to balance both the mediums.”
Karam Rajpal will play Bhagat Singh
TV actor Karam Rajpal, who was last seen on 'Naamkarann', will soon join the cast of 'Chandrashekhar'. The show revolves around the struggles of freedom fighters Chandrashekhar Azad and Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Karam has been finalised to play the role of Bhagat Singh on the show.

'Bigg Boss' contestant and producer Vikas Gupta celebrated his birthday on Monday. Many of his friends from the TV industry attended the do. Among those who turned up for the party were Karanvir Bohra, Hunar and Mayank Gandhi, Debina Bonnerjee, Adaa Khan, Arjun Bijlani, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij.
