Waaris actor Neel Motwani injures himself while saving his co-star

Actor Neel Motwani, who is currently seen on &TV's Waaris, injured himself when a pillar fell on his leg.
While shooting for Preet's(Farnaz Shetty) birthday party sequence, a pillar fell and was about to hit actress Farhina Jarimari. Neel came to her rescue by pushing her aside.

The pillar fell on Neel's leg and injured him. The doctors were called on the set who said it was a serious injury, However, the actor completed shooting for the whole sequence.
The production had to write new scenes so that Neel could get some rest.
