Vishal Vashishtha on wife Deepakshi: The person who didn’t let me give up
Vishal Vashishtha has been earning praise for his performance in the recently released series Glory, but beyond his professional journey, the actor says his biggest strength has always been his wife, Deepakshi. According to Vishal, their relationship is rooted in years of growing together, understanding each other’s struggles and supporting one another through life’s uncertainties.
Speaking about the person who has stood by him the most, Vishal says, “That person has to be my wife. Deepakshi and I have known each other since a very young age. We have seen each other through different phases of life, from school and college to stepping out of our city for work and eventually building something professionally on our own.”
Deepakshi began her career as an assistant director in films and advertisements before gradually moving towards shooting films and music videos. After marriage, the couple moved to Goa, where she shifted her focus towards photography and design while continuing to pursue painting and art. Having worked in the entertainment industry herself, Vishal says she understands the emotional and professional demands that come with an actor’s life.
Reflecting on their bond, he shares, “We’ve seen each other through not just the amazing highs but also the terrible lows. We have mutual respect and understanding for what we do. You can openly share with the other person if you’re overwhelmed, nervous or anxious, and sometimes even when you’re just too happy.”
For Vishal, that emotional understanding is what makes their relationship special. He concludes, “Maybe some other person may not understand, but your partner does. The person who didn’t let me give up is my wife.”
