Uncomfortable with kissing and bold scenes, these TV celebs refused to do web shows

While many television celebrities are taking up web shows owing to the surge in demand for the same, it’s a big no-no for a few. Recently, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 fame Erica Fernandes revealed to ETimes TV that she has refused to do web shows because of the bold content they revolve around. There are a few other TV celebs who have turned down web show offers for similar reasons. Take a look:

Erica is returning to TV after Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 with the third season of her debut show, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi. In her recent interview with ETimes TV, the actress shared about not taking up shows because she is uncomfortable doing bold scenes. She said, “I am not comfortable doing bold shows and content and I am quite open about it. I have been offered quite a few shows until now. There have been shows that came my way and had bold content and I have said no to them because sometimes I feel they are forcefully added to the show to sell.” (Pic: Instagram)

Jijaji Chhat Par Koi Hai fame Hiba Nawab told ETimes TV that the bold content in web shows is the reason behind her not taking up any. Hiba stated, “I would want to be a part of it. But honestly, what’s stopping me is the bold content. I am not comfortable exposing myself or doing bold scenes. I do get calls and the moment I ask if there are any kissing or intimate scenes, they say yes. My family is not in favour of it. As an individual, I am also not comfortable.” (Pic: Instagram)

Sasural Simar Ka 2 actress Tanya Sharma recently shared that she is losing out on many web shows because of the requirement to do bold scenes. “I am losing out on a lot of projects because of intimate and bold scenes required. I understand that when the makers write a story they have a mindset and a concept. Whenever I am approached for a role, I get pressurized when they give examples of other actors. But I have a boundary for myself, and maybe I am not ready to cross that boundary yet. I am not comfortable doing any intimate scenes right now. Bigg Boss fame, Gauahar Khan is another TV celeb who has turned down various web shows due to the requirement of bold scenes. The actress, who was recently in a web series, once shared that she has her lines drawn and would not like to cross them just because she wants to be a part of a web show. She also revealed that there have been many shows and roles that came her way but she didn’t take up those because she couldn’t deliver them with all her heart. (Pic: Instagram)

Pankhuri, who was last seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, had shared that she has not taken up any web series related projects as they required her to do bold scenes. In an interview with BT, the actress stated, “I get a lot of offers for web shows, but I am not comfortable doing bold scenes. Every time I get a call for a web show, they start by saying, ‘bold scenes hai.’ Also, I feel that a scene like that should make sense and not just be an addition to grab eyeballs.” (Pic: Instagram)
