This is just the beginning: Sayantani Ghosh on Dahej Daasi completing 100 episodes
Sayantani Ghosh, who is seen as Vindhya Devi in Ravindra Gautam and Raghuvir Shekhawat’s Dahej Daasi, which is produced under their banner Do Dooni 4 Films, feels great that the show has completed 100 episodes. She says that in today’s time, when the life of a show is unpredictable, she is happy that their show has managed to achieve this milestone.
She said, “It feels wonderful that we've completed 100 episodes. And in today's time and age, you know, when the life of a show can be pretty short-lived, it's not like how it was a few years ago when any show would do a minimum
one-year run. But these days we get to see that when shows don't perform within two or three months, they get pulled out of air. Given that scenario, I think when a show is doing well, it becomes that much more special.”
“And Dahej Daasi has been one such special journey. And I would like to say this is just the beginning. We are continuing with this show. We are number one on the network. The show has been accepted and loved by the fans. Way to go. And we just can't wait to add more numbers to this hundred—you know, 500 and then thousand—and to complete more milestones, and it just feels wonderful,” she added.
For Sayantani, every day is an experience and a learning moment, and the journey has been amazing so far. She praised everyone on the team for being so supportive.
“Our producers, Ravinder Gautam, Raghuvir Shekhawat, the entire cast and crew, the network—everybody has really come together as a team, so the entire journey has been very special. But one very special moment was when we launched it with great numbers, and we were number one immediately on the network. So that sort of acceptance was great,” she said.
"Also, people immediately knew—the industry insiders or the fans—that everybody knew about the show because of its unique concept. People were curious. And then, when the show came on air, people really accepted it. So that sort of reach was so amazing that people talked about our show. It's just been great shooting for the past six months, and I really can't wait for the new chapters in this journey to unfold,” she added.
