The Kapil Sharma Show: Odisha's Chief Minister sends video message for the Indian Men and Women Hockey Team for excelling at Olympics 2020; Sapna flirts with them and more

The latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show saw the superstars of Tokyo Olympics 2020 - the Men and Women Hockey players, who made the country proud on foreign soil. To set the mood, Kapil Sharma spoke about various kinds of sports with special guest Archana Puran Singh. He discussed the weight issues, flexibility, and attire they are supposed to wear. Kapil also joked about the adventures involved in bungee jumping, paragliding, rafting.

With much enthusiasm, Kapil invited the Indian Women's Hockey Team, who excelled at the recently-concluded Tokyo Olympics. Firstly, he invited the captain of the team, Rani Rampal, followed by Savita Punia, Gurjit Kaur, Neha Goyal, Sushila Sanu, Navneet Kaur and Vandana Kataria. The girls team entered the semi-finals for the first time in the Olympics.

The host also called on stage the Indian Men's Hockey Team Captain, Manpreet Singh, P.R. Sreejesh, Rupinder Pal Singh, Birendra Lakra, Lalit Kumar Upadhyay, Mandeep Singh and Harmanpreet Singh. Moments from the men's team's victory (bronze) were shown and Kapil couldn't stop talking about their zeal and victorious moment. After 41 years, the Indian Men's Hockey Team brought home a medal. Archana Puran Singh, along with the audience gave a standing ovation to the sportsperson. The captain of the Men's Hockey team informed that India holds the maximum number of medals from the Olympics for Hockey including the golds, silvers and the bronze.

The Men Hockey Team narrated their experience of interacting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The team spoke about the language barrier and a few funny incidents related to the English language. The women's team and men's team also discussed their diet and said that due to this Olympics, people's interest has increased in Hockey.

Krushna Abhishek aka Sapna enters and makes everyone dance. She flirts with the men and asks the parents to not just focus on girls making 'gol' rotis and puris but let them play goals by giving them a little freedom. Sapna teases Kapil for doing away with her parlour.

Special messages from veteran Bollywood actors Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha and Odisha's Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik were played during the show where they extended their heartfelt wishes for the Hockey players and prayed for their good health.

Bharti Singh jokes about not getting over her anchoring skills. She states that Kapil's wife would call her during the lockdown and request to start their show because he keeps interviewing their six month old son at home.
