The Great Indian Kapil Show 4 Finale: David Dhawan on Salman Khan asking him to tell Akshay Kumar not to touch him during 'MSK' Shoot; Kapil Sharma recalls doing Hans Baliye with wife Ginni

The latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4 marked the grand finale, featuring Bollywood’s popular father-son duo David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan as special guests. The host Kapil Sharma shared the edited parts from the episode on his YouTube channel where David Dhawan and Varun revealed many unknown facts from their life. Kapil also shared how he was nervous while participating in Has Baliye with his then girlfriend and now wife Ginni Chatrath. Kapil talked about doing a show with his then girlfriend and now wife Ginni, he said, "David sir and Karisma Kapoor ma'am were the judges of Has Baliye. The show allowed couples like husband-wife or boyfriend-girlfriend to participate. I entered as a wild card contestant, and Ginni was with me. He added, "Sunil Grover and Gaurav Gera were hosting the show. They were introducing everyone along with their partners, but I requested them not to talk about my situation because nothing was final between us at that time. Ginni’s ke papa bechare sidhe saadhe unko pata nahi chala ke show ka format kya hai? (Ginni's father was sitting there and didn’t know the format of the show.) David Dhawan says, "Not at all. Professionally, directors and actors tend to move on and forget things. Even as a director, you forget." Varun added that it can feel awkward while shooting kissing scenes. David Dhawan went on to add that there are kiss scenes in his films and it's not really like that. Varun shared that his father is a gold medalist from FTII and had an amazing group of batchmates. David Dhawan added, “My batchmates included Satish Shah and Rakesh Bedi. Mithun ragged me. When I came in a taxi from Pune, he opened the door and stood in front of me. He started abusing me in Bengali (laughs(. He scolded me and asked me to get down. When I stepped out, he continued abusing me. I still greeted him with a salaam.” David Dhawan also shared that Shakti Kapoor also ragged him. He shared, "He was a senior to me and ragged me a lot. Kapil also shared a story, saying, “Shakti sir once told me that when he was studying at FTII, Mithun Da was their senior. Shakti Kapoor asked Mithun Da in a stylish way if he wanted to have some beer. Mithun Da didn’t say anything at that moment, but later that night, he entered Shakti sir's room and gave him a beer. Varun said, “I have always wanted to work with Irrfan bhai. The way he worked was so effortless and smooth, like butter. I truly wish to collaborate with him. I have worked with Sunny bhai and learned a lot from him. I feel very blessed. I have also worked with Diljit bhai, and as an artist, I really admire the quality of his work. While talking about his father, Varun Dhawan revealed how David Dhawan always recalls the memories of working with Govinda, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor. The legendary director shares that he has done 17 films with Govinda. He said, "Seventeen films I've done with him and I believe Govinda is one of the best actors, I have worked with, outstanding."

Varun mentions how difficult it is to perform after the comparisons. Varun says, "Ab joh bhi scene likha jaata hai unko yaad aati hai Chi Chi bhaiya ki (Govinda), If Chi Chi were here, how would he do it? So I tell him but I have to perform for my audience, who are little kids. So I have a very tall order to live upto. I have directed the maximum number of double-hero films. I directed a film with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. It wasn't easy to work with them. They both have different temperaments. Akshay ki aadat hai scene karne mein kuch haath laga dena...woh aake mujhe bolta hai isko bol haath nahi lagane mujhe. (Akshay has the habit of fiddling around during the scene. Salman tells me, "Tell him he better not touch me." (laughs). Working with Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan was the best.
