Bhavya Gandhi, who is better known as Tapu of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah, is all set to return to the small screen. Bhavya started off as a child artiste and will now be seen as an alien in his comeback serial – Shaadi Ke Siyaape. Let’s take a look at his journey. By: Sukarna Mondal

After portraying the character of Tapu for nine years on Indian television in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah, Bhavya quit the show in 2017. Speaking to TimesofIndia.com, Bhavya’s mother Yashoda Gandhi said, “Of course we miss the character. Bhavya has given his entire childhood to Taarak Mehta K Ooltah Chashmah and literally has grown up as Tapu.” Photo: Instagram

Bhavya will be seen in the role of an alien and he recently shared the promo of his new show. He wrote alongside, “Towards the mountain, my goal!” Talking about his comeback earlier, his mother had said, “Yes, Bhavya is all set to be a part of the show as an alien.
