Taarak Mehta actor Sachin Shroff set to remarry at 43; know more about his new wife, previous marriage with Juhi Parmar and daughter Samairra

Sachin Shroff, who is seen in the sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is set to remarry on February 25. Even though the 43-year-old actor likes to keep his private life away from the limelight, his previous troubled marriage with Juhi Parmar, with whom he has a daughter Samairra, was out in the open.

Interestingly, Sachin's wife-to-be is his sister's friend. The families have known each other for a while. A source told BT, "The bride-to-be isn’t from the industry. She is a part-time event organiser and interior designer. She has been Sacchin’s sister’s friend for several years." (Photo: Instagram)

The source further informed BT that it is an arranged marriage and it was last month that Sachin's family asked him to give a serious thought of settling down with her. The source said, "It’s not a typical relationship in which the couple falls in love first. Sacchin gave his family’s suggestion a serious thought. Sachin and Juhi met on the sets of a TV show and fell in love gradually. They got married on 15 February, 2009 in Jaipur. The couple welcomed their first child Samairra on January 27, 2013.

Rumours of trouble in their marriage started to surface in 2017 and it was Juhi who put all speculations to rest in January, 2018 by announcing her divorce with Sachin. There were lots of accusations hurled back and forth that turned it into a bitter divorce.

Back then speaking to BT, Sachin opened up about his failed marriage and revealed that Juhi had no love for him. He had said, "The divorce happened with mutual consent, amicably and in a dignified manner. Unfortunately, and by Juhi’s own public admission, she was never in love with me. One-sided relationships are doomed from the beginning. It’s said, 'It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all'. But the fact is that it hurts to have been in a loveless marriage. Nothing I did could make Juhi love me."

Sachin's accusations of 'love marriage' led Juhi to pen an open letter to him blaming him for washing dirty linen in public. She claimed how she decided to start a family with him right after winning Bigg Boss and struggled to make their marriage work. She clarified, "The flat, which has been mentioned to have been given to Samairra by you for her future, has an outstanding loan which is to be borne by me." Sachin stepped in the role of Taarak Mehta in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He replaced Sailesh Lodha a few months back last year. He was previously seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
