Sunil Grover to Mohit Sehgal, these celebs are going to make a comeback on TV after a long hiatus

Get ready to see some of your favourite actors to make a comeback on TV. Sunil Grover, Shilpa Shinde, Mohit Sehgal and many other celebs will be seen again on TV screens after a long hiatus. They have been away from the TV scene due to their personal reasons, but now we just can’t wait to see them again.

The actor and comedian was seen in 2018 show Kanpur Wale Khuranas and is all set to make a comeback on TV with comedy show – ‘Gangs of Filmistan’. Sunil, who has entertained viewers with his hilarious characters like Gutthi, Dr. Mashoor Gulati, Rinku Bhabhi, will be seen in yet another entertaining character – a don. Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde will also be back on-screen after a hiatus of 2 years. Last seen in the reality show on TV, get ready to witness Shilpa Shinde tickle your funny bones in Sunil Grover show – Gangs of Filmistan.

Mohit Sehgal will be seen in a full-fledged role after a gap of 3 years - Love Ka Hai Intezaar. The actor had done a few reality shows like Kitchen Champion and Nach Baliye 9. Mohit is making a comeback with Ekta Kapoor’s fantasy thriller Naagin 5. Seen as Jay Mathur, he is paired opposite Surbhi Chandna.

We also saw Hina Khan take up TV after her stint as Komolika in the reprised version of Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The actress had shifted gears to films and web series but Ekta convinced her to launch Naagin 5 with a brief role as Sarvashresth Naagin. Fans went ga-ga seeing her in the role of a shape-shifting snake woman.

Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi, who has been a part of some of the iconic shows on television like Shrimaan Shrimati, Yeh Joh Hai Zindagi, Zaban Sambhaal Ke will now be seen in India’s one of the longest running sitcoms – Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The actor is also seen as Angoori's father in hit comedy show 'Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain'. Sources close to the actor informed ETimes TV that Rakesh will play the role of Taarak Mehta aka Sailesh Lodha's boss. He has already started shooting for the role and his entry will be aired soon. It is a cameo role and will be there for a few days.

Ishqbaaz fame Navina Bole, who welcomed her first baby last year and was on a pregnancy break, also returned to TV Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She was roped in for a cameo role. The actress played the role of a psychiatrist helping Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi with his sleeping disorder.

Actress Rajashree Thakur is all set to make a powerful comeback with new TV series Shadi Mubarak. Rajshree was last seen in 2015 show Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap as Maharani Jaiwanta Bai Songara. Rajashree Thakur won the hearts of the audience by playing the role of Saloni Singh in the show, Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar.

Manav Gohil will be seen alongside Rajshree in Shadi Mubarak. The actor was last seen in 2019 show Kesari Nandan as Hanumant Singh. Manav was also seen in the role of Krishnadevaraya in Tenali Rama last year. The audience is eagerly waiting to see this fresh pair to ignite magic onscreen.
