Shikha Singh pumps breast milk for her baby girl

Shikha Singh, whose daughter is one and half year old, caught Covid-19 a few days ago. She shared how being away from her daughter has been the most difficult for her and how she has been pumping breast milk for her daughter. She wrote, "It’s been 36hrs I haven’t seen or met @alaynasinghshah & my heart aches to hold her, smell her & be with her. But I know I have to control my emotions for her good & I shall. My struggles- obviously the body aches, headache, fever, cough & all on one side but the main struggle is cos i was still breastfeeding her, she misses that comfort of soothing while going to sleep. Kudos to Karan & Puja (Al’s Didi) for handling her so well that she is just busy in her routine. I'm pumping my milk & giving that to her as advised by our doctor as my milk will contain antibodies for her (not a carrier of covid)." (Photo: Instagram)

Aditi Shirwaikar Malik's little baby fights the virus

Aditi Malik, who gave birth to a baby boy in April last year, shared similar woes of her baby boy catching the virus and coming out of it. The actress encouraged people to battle it out bravely as babies are stronger than they can imagine. She wrote, "My little Ekbir who has never had a fever till date, woke up one morning slightly warm. We checked his temperature and it was 102 degrees. The first thought that came to our mind was to test everyone and unfortunately Ekbir and one of my househelps tested positive. Initially, I was shocked. I was wondering how this happened but then Mohit and I decided that we had to look at it positively. Ekbir would fight it out and so would all of us as a family with increased immunity. It took us 2 to 3 hours but we decided that the house had to be playful for Ekbir and touchwood, by God's Grace he is out of it. We were all isolated in separate rooms and we all finished our quarantine, were tested and are now negative. For me the learning was that yes, Covid is dangerous and yes, I was nervous but when it came down to it, we are all fighters, including our children." (Photo: Instagram)
