Small screen's Geet has B-town dreams
Pavitra Punia aka Geet of Love You Zindagi talks about her new show, future plans and much more....
Tell us something about your new show?
‘Love you Zindagi’ is a show conceptualized by Imtiaz Ali. The story revolves around the Punjabi girl named Geet. Geet has a great zest for life. She is innocent and has her own clever ways of dealing with circumstances.

How did the show happen?
I was selected from around 200 girls at the audition. I am extremely happy to be a part of such a prestigious show.
In past, you have been a part of Splitsvilla 3, a reality show. What according to you is more interesting, reality shows or daily soaps?
A reality show is very different from a daily soap, and it focuses more on youngsters and their lifestyle. However, serials are for family viewing and are appreciated by everyone. I am really enjoying the transition.

How difficult is it to play Geet? Did you do any special preparation for it?
Luckily, I share great resemblance with Geet's character. Geet is a synonym to Pavitra. So I didn’t have to prepare much, it comes to me naturally.
Are you open to more reality shows?
Yes, but the format of the show should be different from Splitsvilla.
Do you think reality shows are a shortcut to success?
A firm no to that. I took up Splitsvilla for fun. To experience something new and adventurous. But fortunately, opportunity came to me uninvited.
Any Bollywood plans?
Bollywood is my final destination.
