Sidharth Shukla's death: Kushal Tandon, Gauahar Khan and others slam celebs for 'giving interviews' after meeting his family; say, 'Hang your head in shame'

Sidharth Shukla (40) breathed his last on Thursday morning, September 2. The actor suffered a cardiac arrest, after complaining of chest pain. The news of his death left his family, friends and fans in an utter state of shock. There were several celebrities, who visited Sidharth's residence to meet his mother. However, there were a few, who removed their masks for photographs and gave interviews after visiting his family. Gauahar Khan, who developed a friendly bond with Sidharth Shukla inside the Bigg Boss 14 house as 'Toofani Seniors', called out the celebrities, who gave interviews after visiting Sidharth Shukla's grieving family. The actress tweeted, "Any one who has met a grieving family, should not give out details. Really sad to see people giving interviews about family members and sharing details. Stop! Please stop! Kushal Tandon said he was "disgusted" to watch celebrities removing masks for pictures at the funeral, and quit social media. "Hang your head in shame. Disgusted with everything that is going on. Vikas Gupta also called out the celebrities, who were calling Sidharth Shukla's mother, Rita Shukla "alone." The former Bigg Boss contestant tweeted, "All the Celebs & their PR - who are so eager to help #SiddharthShukla Mom saying she is alone Incase You arnt aware She has two daughters & dont forget #ShehnaazGill They have each other & these women can take care of even You All if need be. Arshi Khan also accused a few for "hogging limelight" and called the act to be "disgusting". In an interview with IANS, Arshi said, "It is disgusting that people look out for self-benefit whenever a popular celebrity dies. I'm disappointed with many people I know, who are coming out as 'wannabes' over Sidharth Shukla's death. Their action and statements in media is sounding like overacting and fake. Rakhi Sawant had posted a video of herself on social media where she spoke about Sidharth Shukla's mother's 'terrible' condition. She had said, "I just returned from Sid's home and met his mom. The house feels very empty. I can't express what a terrible situation his mom is in. She had tears in her eyes but not in her senses. She just kept saying, 'Chala Gaya, vo chala gaya.' I told her that he hasn't gone. His soul is here with you. The body leaves, not the soul. He's there with you, in your blood, in your heart." She captioned the video: "I am very emotional this is really heartbreaking �� sid Please come back mom is waiting for you bhot huee chupa chupi ma bula rahi hai bhai aaja."
