TV shows that were forced to go off air despite popular actors

With competition from various digital platforms, TV as a medium is trying harder to come up with unique concept but lately nothing seems to be working for it. Even popular franchises failed to win people's hearts. The popular TV actors' stardom also didn't come as a saving grace to these shows leaving the series to be pulled down in a few months. Shaurya Ki Anokhi Kahani

Shaurya Ki Anokhi Kahani featured Karanvir Sharma and Debattama Saha in lead roles. The show ran for seven months and its last episode featured on July 24, 2021. Shaurya Ki Anokhi Kahani was replaced by Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana, which, too went off air in a brief period.

Ghar Ek Mandir- Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki

Shrenu Parikh, who essayed the female lead in this show, had confirmed with BT about her show going off-air. Ghar Ek Mandir- Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki was launched in August 2021 and its last episode was telecast on February 18, 2022.

Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3

Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3 had the A-list actors of television - Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh. Despite this powerful cast, the popular franchise didn't manage to gain enough TRPs and was pulled down. Erica, in her long Instagram note had criticised the producers for being 'hypocrites' after they allegedly blamed her for the show's failure.

Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2

Pooja Gor and Arhaan Behl reprised their roles in Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2 but due to low ratings, it went off air in four and a half months. Despite adding various tracks and even a year's leap, the show failed to win the hearts of the audience.

Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha

Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha was a unique concept of a visually impaired photographer. played by Vijayendra Kumeria. However, the show did not run for more than seven months and saw an abrupt end. Talking about it, Vijayendra had shared, "Well it's not a great feeling when everything comes to an end. But I have to accept it. I am satisfied that I gave my best."

Shaadi Mubarak

Starring Manav Gohil and Rajshree Thakur, the show opened on a great note. However, within a few months, news about creative differences cropped up between the producers and Rajshree. However, she quashed those news and quit the show. Rajshree was replaced by Rati Pandey but due to low TRPs, the show went off air in 8 months.

Vidrohi

Historical drama featuring Sharad Malhotra, Sulagna Panigrahi and Hemal Dev in the lead went on air on October 11, 2021. The show's last episode will go on air in March 2022. Talking about it, a source shared, "It hasn't been able to rake in the desired ratings because of which a decision to wrap it up has been taken. A new show named Chandani might replace it or it may get a new time slot."
