Saroj Khan passes away at 71; here's looking at her appearances on television shows

Veteran choreographer Saroj Khan (71) passed away today due to cardiac arrest. She was one of the most respected talents not only in Bollywood but also the TV industry. She was a part of several shows on the small screen as a judge, and there's a lot that the viewers and the participants learned about dancing and her love for it through these shows. Here's taking a look at her television appearances:

Saroj Khan appeared on the couple dance reality show Nach Baliye as a judge. Considering its humongous success, she also appeared in the second season of the show.

Saroj Khan also featured in the show Ustaadon Ka Ustaad where celebs from all the reality shows were given a chance to compete with each other and showcase their talent. Also seen on the show were Javed Akhtar and Shekhar Suman. Sajid Khan was its host.

Saroj Khan featured in the dance show Boogie Woogie alongside Javed Jaffrey, Naved Jaffrey and Ravi Behl. The entertaining show was quite popular among the audience.

The third season of the popular show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, in 2009 saw Saroj Khan as a judge alongside choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant and actress Juhi Chawla.

In 2008, Saroj Khan appeared with her own show, Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan, on television. The dance class show hosted by her saw her teaching the art to popular celebs.

Saroj Khan appeared briefly on popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as a judge in a dance competition. She was entertained by Disha Vakani and Dilip Joshi with their performance.
