Sara Ali Khan's mom Amrita being a Bigg Boss fan to Ananya Panday getting BB theme birthday cake; these Bollywood celebs love the reality show

You can hate Bigg Boss, but you can’t ignore Bigg Boss. When Bigg Boss is on, it is almost like a festival, when all the eyes are glued to the TV screens. There have been 14 seasons of the controversial reality show so far and currently the OTT version is on air. And over the years, many Bollywood celebs have expressed their love for the reality show. They love to binge-watch it, gossip about it and also root for celebs inside the house. Take a look:

Salman Khan, who has been hosting the show for over a decade, revealed that his mother loves Bigg Boss. During Bigg Boss 11, it was learnt that she was supporting contestant Shilpa Shinde in the show who later went on to win the season too.

On his new role as the Bigg Boss OTT host Karan Johar said, “My mom and I are huge Bigg Boss fans and wouldn’t miss it for a day. As a viewer, it keeps me hugely entertained with dollops of drama. For decades now, I have always enjoyed hosting shows and now with Bigg Boss OTT... it will surely be Over the Top. It’s my mother’s dream come true.”

In one of the seasons, Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan came as special guests. During their interaction with host Salman, Sara revealed that her mom Amrita is a huge fan of Bigg Boss. Learning this, Salman called up his dear friend Amrita and she got to interact with the housemates. She also confessed that she loves the show and is an ardent follower.

Actress Ananya Panday called Bigg Boss her ‘guilty pleasure’. While speaking to a leading magazine, Ananya revealed that Indian reality TV shows like Bigg Boss and Splitsvilla are some of her enjoyable guilty pleasures when it comes to entertainment. Ananya also called herself to be an obsessed fan of the show, who tells everyone to keep quiet when BB is on-air. Her mother Bhavna and she are regular viewers of the reality show and bond over it. She is such a big fan that she also had a Bigg Boss theme cake for her 17th birthday. Now that’s who you call a BIG Bigg Boss fan.

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan also watches Bigg Boss and he also came out in support of Asim Riaz and Sidharth Shukla in Bigg Boss 13. Varun had worked with Sidharth in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Asim in Main Tera Hero. At an awards show Varun had shared back then, “I think that show is very different and what happens inside the house is also different. It's a reality show and it's better that we should take it as a reality show only.”

Bhumi Pednekar, who has been to the show several times, was supporting Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai. Though she couldn’t watch it regularly owing to shooting schedule, she would catch up on it in her free time.

Director Farah Khan, who once hosted Bigg Boss Halla Bol, throws watch parties for her friends. A big fan of the show, she shared, “I am the biggest audience of Bigg Boss.”
