Recreating the unbuttoned pants look to stepping out in 'Not Javed Akhtar's granddaughter' t-shirt; times when Urfi Javed showed she is unaffected by trolls

Known for flaunting the umpteen bizarre fashion looks every time she steps out or posts pictures on Instagram, Urfi Javed has grabbed eyeballs once again. The Bigg Boss OTT fame actress stepped out in another of her atypical looks and made people talk about her. Being called out for her perplexing style statement to getting trolled for skin show is something that she goes through on a daily basis. And it looks like she believes in not paying much heed to the negativity she receives on social media. Be it with her confidence, outfits, social media posts or declarations, time and again Urfi has proved that she is least affected by the trolling and negativity. Here’s how and when:

2/10

Back to unbuttoning her pants

It was soon after her Bigg Boss OTT stint that Urfi grabbed headlines for sporting unbuttoned checkered pants at the airport. She was brutally trolled for the look then. Now, once again she is flaunting her well-shaped abs in khakhi pants paired with a bright pink crop top in her latest post. Urfi recently shared some quirky pictures in the look and is garnering love from fans while trolls do their part.

'Not Javed Akhtar's granddaughter'

Back in September 2021, Urfi was mistaken for being ace lyricist Javed Akhtar’s granddaughter. ‘Javed’ in their names gave people a chance to link her with him and stirred up a controversy. Urfi had clarified that she has no relation with Javed Akhtar then. However, she came out to state it once again with her recent airport look, not giving much thought to the trolling that might follow. She was recently spotted wearing a white t-shirt with the slogan 'Not Javed Akhtar's granddaughter' imprinted on it.

Not backing out of bold looks

Being bold is a part of Urfi and she has not let it vanish away in spite of the heavy trolling. Going bold with her uniquely cut out outfits or posing in revealing attires, she has kept it that way even after facing lewd remarks by netizens. Recently, she dropped a stunning picture in a risque bralette paired with a short skirt. Her confidence and beauty took over the internet in a matter of minutes. Earlier, Urfi shared pictures posing in unusually ripped off attires.

Shirts to her rescue

Urfi has often been a victim of heavy trolling every time she has unconventionally styled a shirt. Nonetheless, she once again made another style statement and this time it was in a reversed shirt. Recently, she shared pictures and a video sporting a reversed shirt with its buttons at the back.

Unabashedly speaking about her difficult times

Ahead of New Year’s Urfi came up to send out a word of positivity and inspire everyone to not let the difficulties take over. In a long note, she opened up about coming out from a phase when she felt like a loser. With her pep talk, Urfi motivated fans to not give up despite the tough situations. She wrote, “A few times in my life I’ve felt like the only way to get out of this mess is to end my life . My life was seriously fucked up . Failed career , failed relationships, no money made me feel like a loser who doesn’t deserve to live . I still don’t have a lot of money , successful career and I’m still single but I have hope. The only reason I’m alive today ( trust me there have been so many incidents in my life which nearly killed me ) is because I never stopped . I kept walking and I’m still walking . I may not be where I want to be but at least I’m on the way .Some pep talk before the year ends ! Get up , fight , repeat . You’re stronger than the situations around you.”

7/10

Giving it back to trolls with a one-liner

Urfi was mercilessly trolled when she sported a purple cut out pantsuit to a function. Her unconventional suit look left everyone in a daze as nothing of that sort was ever seen before. She faced a row of nasty comments and negative remarks for sporting an incomprehensible outfit. In response to it all, Urfi came up with a befitting reply in the same dress. She posted a series of pictures in that look and wrote, “Bhaad me jaye duniya, Akele khelegi Muniya!” The post was later deleted by the actress.

8/10

Not giving up on replicating Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities

Sexy sari look inspired by Katrina Kaif or replica of Rihanna’s viral Met Gala look, Urfi has recreated the bold looks of many popular. She was trolled for sporting a see-through attire like that of Bella Hadid and called out for copying Kendal Jenner too. Moreover, she has been called ‘sasti katrina’, been compared to Sunny Leone and a lot more, but nothing has kept her from doing what she loves too. The trolling and backlash has not made Urfi give up on her knack for unconventional style.

9/10

When she took the credit of ‘keeping trolls busy’

In an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, Urfi was asked if she is affected by this brutal trolling on the internet that she is attacked with on an everyday basis. The actress had a fairly positive response to this and said, “After Bigg Boss OTT a lot of people started noticing me, but they know me for my fashion choices and they write to me that I've a weird fashion sense and they are busy trolling me. They have got a reason to troll me and I am keeping them busy. These trolls don't affect me, they don't bother me at all.”

10/10

Slamming the trolls and media like never before

Earlier in another interview with ETimes TV, Urfi was asked if she has come to a stage where the trolls don’t bother her. In her reply she said, “I will be very honest here. I never gave a f**k (to the backlash). Why would I bother about what some stupid people think? The media has also s**t shamed me with some of them writing 'maine saari haadein paar kar de ashleelta ki' and 'urfi javed ne apna yeh dikhaya, woh dikhaya'. I will dress how I like. Even if my dress pleases the people, they are going to troll me; I just know it. Jab Ananya Panday aur Janhvi Kapoor ko spare nahin karte, toh main kis khet ki mooli hoon?”
