Rashami Desai, Gauahar Khan and others react to Covishield causing rare side effects; here’s what they have to say
There's been a significant development regarding the COVID vaccine and its uncommon side effects, which have raised concerns among many health professionals. AstraZeneca, a multinational pharmaceutical company, acknowledged in legal documents that its COVID vaccine, Covishield, can lead to rare side effects, as reported by The Telegraph. The news has shook everyone with many TV celebs reacting to the same. Rashami Desai, Pooja Bhatt many others took to their social media and expressed their take on it.
While Rashami reacted to how people have been facing the side effects of Covishield, Pooja Bhatt shared an informative post about the same. Imlie’s Ritu Chaudhary also made a post about Covishield.
Ritu wrote, “Hence the many many lives lost due to heart attacks post Covid!!!!!” Pooja, on the other hand, wrote, “AstraZeneca has accepted for the first time that its Covid-19 vaccines, Covishield and Vaxzevria, in rare cases can cause Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS). TTS is a rare condition in which blood clots form in unusual places in the body, and the number of platelets in the blood drops. The pharma giant is facing a class-action suit in the UK alleging its vaccine caused deaths and severe injuries.”
Rashami mentioned, “To ab darna hai ki nahi Talwar toh… abhhi latak Rahi halee.” Gauahar Khan wrote, “Oh my god.” Netizens from all around also expressed their concern over the same on social media. A user on X wrote, “Bro this shouldn’t have happened, what are we going to do now.” Another user wrote, “Vaccine saved us from covid only to kill us from something even worse.”
In 2023, the World Health Organisation (WHO) said in its report that TTS emerged as a new adverse event following immunisation in individuals vaccinated with COVID-19 non-replicant adenovirus vector-based vaccines. This refers to the AstraZeneca COVID-19 ChAdOx-1 vaccine and the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Janssen COVID-19 Ad26.COV2-S vaccines.

Vaccine manufacturers made money. Political leaders across the world, who helped in mass selling of the vaccines by making vaccination compulsory, would have got their huge commissions. And, to achieve this, common man's life and health has been criminally compromised.Read allPost comment
