Rakhi Sawant on embracing Islam: It was not about my will, my husband made me follow it and I have accepted it with my heart

Rakhi Sawant is the controversy queen, she finally opened up on how she embraced Islam and how she regrets not being able to go to Umrah. Rakhi further took a stand for Karan Johar and revealed that he is being targeted for no reason. Take a look at what she shared with the reporters and photographers:

I'll tell you all how the namaz is offered. Namaz is observed through 7 bones, the feet, the knees, the hands and the head. Even the nose needs to be touched but I had surgery so I cannot touch my nose. I am learning all of this every day. I didn't know how to offer Namaz but I have been learning.

My husband made me accept Islam, so I am following it. It wasn't about my will or anything. I was born Hindu, I started following Christianity with my mother and now after getting married to Adil, he made me accept Islam. He is not a part of my life but now Islam is and I am offering namaz, keeping Rozas and trying my best to be a good Muslim. I will continue this, I find peace in it.

My heart is aching, I wanted to go for Umrah and I couldn't go. Due to being from a Hindu background, it is getting difficult for me to get a certificate. I have already chanted the Qalma, I offer namaz, keep Rozas and I consider myself a Muslim now. My name is Fatima, but I still couldn't get the certificate. I was telling everyone who goes to Hajj to keep me in their prayers.

Karan Johar is my brother, I don't want to say anything against him. Why should I go against Bollywood and have fights? I love Priyanka, she could have spoken up about this before. Now that she has gotten settled in the USA, there is no point in bringing up the past. Karan Johar is not like this, he is being targeted.

I don't know yet, I might get a chance to be a part of the show Lock Upp 2. Don't ask so many questions about it. I don't know anything about it yet.

Some fans are jealous of me, after my mother's demise and the issue with my marriage. They have been commenting that I changed quickly. What kind of people are they, why can't they see me happy? People are commenting on my posts, 'yeh jaldi theek hogayi', I cannot live my life. They need to stop talking about my clothes, life, happiness, and grief.

Rakhi also commented on how everyone has been advising her on accepting Islam and questioned how everyone has so much free time to comment on her videos and posts while doing their Rosa. Rakhi says “Jaise humne glamorous kapda pehen liya log dimaag kharab kar rahein hain. Gyan mat bato arey ghar mein beth jao, arey burqa pehenlo. Itna daraatey hain ye log toh koi Islam mein aayenga hi nahi. Duniya mein gyaan mat baato pehle khud sudhro baad mein logo ko bolna. Mein apne dil se Rose karti hoon aur dil se Namaz padhti hoon. That's the reason I am angry.”
