It’s finally Diwali and every house is lit up with bright sparkling lights and happiness. Diwali is the time to celebrate with family and friends. We saw a lot of weddings of TV celebs over the past couple of months and today these TV celebs will be decorating their house for their first Diwali as a ‘Jodi’. Here is a look at those couples who are celebrating their first Diwali together.

The most recent one, or we could say that the wedding celebration and Diwlai celebration for this couple will go hand in hand. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Ayush Viz and his long time girlfriend and now wife Sakshi Kohli got married in a peachy themed ceremony. The two got married a couple of days ago with friends from the show being present to grace the occasion.

One of the most recent ones on the list, Shireen Mirza and boyfriend Hasan Sartaj had their Nikah ceremony last month, in October in Jaipur with many actor friends of Shireen from her show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Divyanka Tripathi, Aly Goni, and many more attended the long wedding affair. This will be couple's first Diwali, and the excitement will be more than any ever with the newly weddings vibe still alive.

The couple got married on two days right after Valentine’s Day, February 16, 2021. Bahu Hamari Rajnikant fame, actress Tanvi took the pheras with Aaditya Kapadia after seven years of dating and staying in a live in relationship for a few months. The couple had first met on the sets of the show Ek Dusre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum and now years later will celebrate their first Diwali as a married couple.

The great actors and comedians got married in April this year after dating for several years before that. The two had first met in 2013 during a show and since then the sparks between the two have just brightened and hopefully their first Diwali after exchanging the wedding vows will be filled with humour and happiness.

Popularly known for her role in Mata Ki Chowki, Muskaan Nancy married her businessman boyfriend Prashant Motwani in a private affair in March this year. The couple had waited for a long time to get married under safe precautions due to the pandemic. After waiting a lot the two are finally hitched and will celebrate the festival as wedded duo for the first time.

Dancer/Choreographer Punit J Pathak married his girlfriend Nidhi Moony Singh in Lonavala in December 2020 which was a two day celebratory affair. The two had met on the sets of Jhalak Dikhla Jha and soon started dating. They got engaged in August 2020 and will have their first sweet Diwali celebration as a married couple for the first time this year.

Another Pandya Store actor Akshay Kharodia tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Divya Punetha in June 2021. The two had been dating over for more than eight years before getting married. Their wedding was a close knitted affair with just a few people present at the venue which was Divya’s residence in Dehradun. The two faced several clashes and struggles to make the wedding happen and hence their first huge festival, Diwali will be a treasure for the two.

Introduced via actress Pranitaa Pandit, their common friend, Shiny Doshi and Lavesh Khairajani went from strangers to love birds and now forever partners. Pandya Store actress Shiny got hitched to businessman Lavesh in an intimate wedding ceremony at their residence with just immediate family and friends. The two will be putting up Diwali lights together as married couple for the first time this year after three years of dating.

Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan fame Abhishek Malik recently in October tied knot with fashion stylist Suhani Chaudhar in Delhi. The two had been strong with their bond through out the pandemic and had held their Roka ceremony earlier this year in January 2021. Hopefully just like their wedding, their first Diwali as a married couple will be lavish and eventful.

One of the most grand weddings of this year and undoubtedly one of the most unforgettable experiences that gave all of us royal feels. The couple got hitched on July 16, 2021 after Rahul Vaidya returned from the South Africa schedule of the reality show Khtron Ke Khiladi season 11. The singer had proposed to Disha Parmar in a romantic manner on the reality show Bigg Boss. This will be the couple’s first Diwali after their wedding and will be more than special forever.
