Power couple Ashmit Patel, Maheck Chahal get engaged in Spain

While holidaying in Europe, Ashmit Patel finally proposed to long-term girlfriend Maheck Chahal in Marbella, Spain.
The couple started dating a few years back and were also seen together on the reality show Power Couple.
After enjoying a lot of time together, Ashmit decided to go down on his knees to ask Maheck for marriage.

Ashmit and Maheck are on cloud nine and the two took this big news on their social media.
While Ashmit captioned the pic saying "She said YES!!! @maheckchahal #downonmyknee #engagement #ring #butwhichfinger #partnerforlife #bae #yesididit"

Maheck too posted the same picture and wrote "He stole my heart, so I’m going to steal his last name. I said YES! @ashmitpatel ❤❤❤#engaged #love #isaidyes #marbella #happiness #ring #romance #suprise #ashma"
The two were on a vacation to Europe and also met Maheck's family in Norway.
Initially Ashmit wanted to propose Maheck in Paris but things couldn't work out and so he decided Marbella where they were enjoying dinner at a cozy restaurant.
He told Bombay Times in an interview: "I never told Maheck that I was carrying a ring with me. We were supposed to meet her family in Norway and I wanted to propose to her in Paris, the city of love, but it did not happen that way. We were at a cozy restaurant in Marbella (Spain), which had a fantastic view, and I decided to propose."
While Ashmit hasn't been seen on TV ever since Power Couple, Maheck was seen on the show Kawach... Kaali Shaktiyon se for a brief period of time.
