The couple started dating a few years back and were also seen together on the reality show Power Couple.
While Ashmit hasn't been seen on TV ever since, Maheck was seen on the show Kawach... Kaali Shaktiyon se for a brief period of time.
While shooting for Kawach, Maheck injured her leg and was forced to leave the show. Her role was taken over by Saara Khan.
