Now a TV show on Indira Gandhi

World leaders and other public figures have often been the inspiration for films. The film Aandhi was loosely based on the life of the late Indira Gandhi.
And now a TV show is being planned on the Iron lady’s life. A channel, along with producer Gautam Adhikari and writer Atul Tiwari (The Legend of Bhagat Singh and Mission Kashmir) is working on the project.
The team has penned 10 episodes after a thorough research on Mrs Gandhi, and are now awaiting a green signal from Congress leader Sonia Gandhi.The show is slated to launch sometime in November and is touted to be the channel’s biggest project ever.
