The television industry is back in action and with reality shows, Bigg Boss OTT, Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 in gear, the audience are in for a solid treat. Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra's marriage has hit a rough patch after the former filed a police complaint against him for domestic violence on June 1. In an interview with BT, Nisha accused Karan of always being "abusive" and "violent." Nisha said that she had given him several chances in the past to mend their relationship. However, it was after finding out about Karan's extramarital affair, Nisha's world came crumbling down. Despite that, Nisha claims to have given a chance to Karan but it changed nothing. "I don’t want any alimony. What will he provide me with that I haven’t given him? We built everything together. I started earning at a very young age and supported him throughout even before he became a part of YRKKH. I have done so much work and whoever I collaborated with will vouch for the fact that Karan was in charge of the commercials. He took away all my jewellery and everything I got with me during our marriage. I have asked him to return the jewellery he has disposed of because I need to start my life again. Meri mom ke property ke papers bhi uske paas pade hue hain, which I want him to return. There’s nothing that I am asking for myself. I am an independent girl and will look after my child and me," said Nisha Rawal.

Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill have a huge fanbase on social media. A section of their fans wrote ill about Shehnaaz, which provoked a fan-war on Twitter. Sidharth Shukla had to intervene by requesting them to stop it. He had written. "Please you don’t need to shame her … it’s not her fault it’s some ppl from that FD …she herself has asked them to stop all this like I have … let’s just be civil and make this place better … so that we can enjoy and learn from each other … makes sense .. (sic)"

The TV industry hasn’t taken Zeeshan’s eviction lightly and are publicly calling out the makers of Bigg Boss. In an unfortunate turn of events, Zeeshan Khan got eliminated in last night’s (August 26) episode after an altercation with controversies' child Pratik Sehajpal from the Bigg Boss OTT house. Zeeshan's elimination has shocked a few of the inmates, some ex-contestants, and show loyalists alike. The makers have also been on the receiving end of some mindful criticism. Sriti Jha, Kishwer Merchant, Gauahar Khan and many others have been vocal about it.

Actor Gaurav Khanna will be seen in the top show, Anupamaa. Gaurav will play the much-anticipated character of Anuj Kapadia - Anupamaa's college friend. Informing BT about it, a source shared, "Gaurav Khanna is all set to make the entry in the show. The actor has been prepping up for the role for quite some time now and is working closely with the makers to finalise his look. Gaurav will start shooting for the show in a few days and his track will be on air by next week. He is excited about being a part of Anupamaa."

The quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 is known for its unique concept and bringing newness along with each season. However, there's one thing that attracts attention is the show's megahost, Amitabh Bachchan's designer outfits. His designer Priya Patil, in an exclusive interview with ETimes TV said, "I've introduced something called the tie-bow accessory like how you have a bow-tie. I have just reversed it and said tie-bow. It is a merger of a tie and a bow and I've taken my inspiration from the 18th century men's clothing. They used to wear neck scarves which had ruffles and some of them also wore brooches with them. They had these breaches and long jackets with a lot of embroidery and with them they had these European style neck scarves, with ruffles and broaches on them. I have made it more of today and just reinvented it such that it looks nice while wearing a three-piece suit. I have used broaches, different tapes, embroidery tapes, ribbons and knotting techniques. This is the new feature that the audience will get to see this season in Mr Bachchan's style." Also, the cufflinks will have his family members' names written on it.

Former Bigg Boss contestant Sofia Hayat, who practises spirituality opined that Bigg Boss OTT host Karan Johar is "worse" than Salman Khan. In an interview with ETimes TV, she said, "They are promoting violence and nepotism... if this show was on in the UK, they would take it off-air immediately because it incites violent behaviour and aggression. Karan is playing up to the old ways of insulting people to get high TRPs. It's an old formula of Bigg Boss."

The equations of the contestants are strengthening within the Bigg Boss OTT chouse. Taqesh Bapat doesn't miss out a chance on waking up his connection Shamita Shetty in the house. He wakes her up by kissing her hand. contestants can be seen getting closer with each passing day. Raqesh doesn’t miss out on waking Shamita up with a kiss on her hand. Recently he was also seen joking about warming her up in bed. This pair is often seen holding hands, kissing each other and flirting around. This has raised the expectations of the audience and they are eager to watch them romance each other.

Bigg Boss OTT contestant Pratik Sehajpal was seen opening up to his connection Neha Bhasin. "As a kid, I was not the typical Punjabi looking guy, I have the Pahadi, northeastern looks, so I was bullied for my looks," said Pratik. Neha was quick to ask him if that was the reason why he got offended when Shamita Shetty stated on stage that he has Korean looks. He agrees with her and says that she actually meant something different and changed the topic that she is a fan of K-pop. For the unversed, Shamita and Pratik got into a tiff at the launch of the show as the latter confronted Shamita over her 'Korean looks' comment. Shamita had also stated back then that she would never choose him as her partner.
