My mother has always inspired me to do good work, says Anupama producer Rajan Shahi
This Mother’s Day, producer Rajan Shahi reflected on the deep impact his mother, Deepa Shahi, has had on both his life and career. Known for successful shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa, Rajan credited his mother for inspiring his values and creative journey. Speaking on Mother’s Day, he said, “My mother has always inspired me to do good work, to be a good human being.”
Extending his wishes to mothers everywhere, he added, “I want to take this moment to applaud and salute all the mothers out there who continue to give without expecting anything in return. Only the strongest humans get to become a mother, because even after working tirelessly they don't get anything in return.”
Calling mothers the backbone of every family, Rajan shared, “No one can do what you can. Your love, sacrifice, and unwavering support are the foundation of our lives. You are the pillar without which our entire lives will fall apart. Thank you for everything you do.”
He concluded with, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers out there!”
